Entry Level Accountant

About this role

An entry level accounting role based in Lagos for Nirvana Synergy. The position involves maintaining financial records, generating reports, recording transactions and overseeing the inventory account. The role supports financial health through balance sheets, profit and loss statements and periodic closings, while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

What you would do

• Manage and track all account transactions.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Handle tax, VAT, PAYE and Pension obligations.
• Process monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Manage balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Report on and advise about the company’s financial health.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.

• Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as an accountant.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
