Engineering – Process Engineer II
About this role
A process engineering role for leading a design team in basic process design and oversight of contractor deliverables during front end and detailed engineering phases. Based in Eket, Akwa Ibom, it targets those with chemical engineering experience in the oil, gas, refining or allied industries.
What you would do
- Lead a design team to develop process design specifications
- Develop heat and material balances and process flow plans
- Design process equipment and perform preliminary hydraulic and utility balances
- Conduct process optimization studies for cost savings and configurations
- Provide technical oversight of engineering contractors to ensure alignment with methods and owner requirements
- Assist with commissioning, start-up and safety reviews as needed

- BS degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in petroleum refining or chemical processing industries or with an engineering contractor serving these industries
- Capital project development experience
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- English fluency in technical and business communications
