Engineering – Process Engineer II
About this role
The role is for a Process Engineer II to lead and guide a design team in developing basic process design specifications and oversee an engineering contractor’s deliverables during front end and detailed engineering for projects. What you would do
- Lead and guide junior engineers in developing process design specifications.
- Develop heat and material balances, design flow plans, and process equipment design.
- Perform process optimization studies for cost savings and alternative configurations.
- Provide technical oversight of engineering contractors during front end and detailed engineering.
- Ensure work adheres to company methods, project specifications and owner requirements.
- Participate in Hazard & Operability Reviews for new or modified facilities.
- Support commissioning and start-up activities for new or modified facilities.
- Establish and manage staffing and organization for processing projects.
- Coordinate with safety facilities design and materials selection.
- Assist in documenting basic process control and instrumentation concepts.
