Engineering Manager (Project)

What you would do
- Coordinate and manage all engineering disciplines including pipeline, HDD, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and cathodic protection.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables from EPC contractors and engineering consultants.
- Ensure designs comply with company standards, project specifications and international codes.
- Monitor engineering schedules and ensure timely issuance of design documents.
- Provide technical review and guidance on pipeline routing, HDD crossing designs, cathodic protection, and electrical systems.
- Ensure constructability reviews are performed before construction.
- Interface with EPC contractors, design consultants and internal teams to resolve conflicts.
- Provide engineering support during construction and review technical queries, RFIs and site changes.
- Approve engineering change requests and deviations.
- Ensure compliance with project safety, environment, and standards; support HAZID/HAZOP and constructability reviews.

- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on cross product pipelines.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering or technical leadership experience on large-scale pipeline projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and industry-standard management software.
- Experience managing EPC from Owner/PMC contractor status.
- Experience on projects in Nigeria preferred or internationally.
- Professional Engineer or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of underground cross country pipelines, HDD, project development, design, construction sequencing and commissioning.
- Expertise in interface management, technical risk management and change management processes.
- Ability to lead senior technical professionals and communicate complex concepts clearly.
