Engineering Assistant (Trainee/Contract)

What you would do

• Assist engineers and technicians with routine maintenance and equipment servicing.
• Support cleaning and housekeeping of designated engineering and utility areas.
• Assist with moving tools, spare parts, maintenance materials and approved equipment.
• Support basic facility maintenance and utility operations under supervision.
• Assist with cleaning and preparation of production support areas.
• Help maintain an orderly engineering workshop, storage area and work environment.
• Report equipment abnormalities, leaks, unusual noises and unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Follow workplace safety rules, GMP requirements, hygiene standards and SOPs.
• Perform other duties related to engineering and production support as assigned.

• Minimum of SSCE; relevant technical or vocational training is an advantage.
• OND in an engineering-related discipline is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production support, utilities or maintenance assistance is desirable but not compulsory for trainees.
• Willingness to learn and follow technical instructions.
