What you would do
- Install, inspect, maintain and repair electromechanical equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in equipment and pumps.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Inspect wiring, control panels, switches, motors, sensors and mechanical components for faults or wear.
- Perform routine servicing, adjustments and replacement of defective components.
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper function and safe operation.
- Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns promptly.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and manuals.
- Use diagnostic instruments, hand tools and power tools safely.
- Maintain records of inspections, repairs and maintenance activities.
