Electrical Workshop Engineer
About this role
A full-time Electrical Workshop Engineer role based in Ojodu Berger, Lagos, for candidates with hands-on experience in control systems, motor control and PLCs. The position involves supporting field technicians, developing panel designs, and testing control systems for automation projects.
What you would do
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to field engineers/technicians.
- Document designs and technical guides for automation panels and procedures.
- Coordinate with the OHS coordinator to investigate incidents.
- Develop technical designs, wiring schematics and templates for panels.
- Design, fabricate, and test control panels.
- Coordinate electronic circuit designs, board assessment and repairs.
What they are asking for
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a related role.
- Strong understanding of control systems, motor control and PLCs.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD for electrical schematic design.
- Knowledge of electronic circuit design and troubleshooting.
- BSc, BEng, BTech or HND in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
