Electrical Technician
About this role
ECOM Agroindustrial Corp Limited is seeking an Electrical Technician in Ogun. The role involves performing electrical tasks such as wiring, fault finding, testing, and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical systems in the factory. The technician will work with electrical panels, motors, cables, and various plant machinery, following industry standards. They may support Mechanical Technicians and report to the Technical Manager for breakdowns and resource needs. What you would do
- Conduct fault finding in electrical panels using a multimeter to fix issues.
- Test electrical motors with a Megger during fault finding or after rewinding.
- Maintain electrical panels and distribution boards to international standards.
- Ensure all factory lights are functioning and adequately covered.
- Ensure electrical cables are neatly strapped in cable trays.
- Fault find on WAGO panels as required.
- Utilise workshop tools to rebuild and repair electrical equipment.
- Report breakdowns to Technical Manager for additional resources.
- Support Mechanical Technicians as needed.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs on specified factory equipment.
