Electrical Technician

About this role

HT-Limited is seeking an Electrical Technician in Lagos. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation across the facility, with collaboration with mechanical, production and engineering teams.

What you would do

• Install three-phase electric motors.
• Commission three-phase electric motors.
• Maintain three-phase electric motors and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot motor faults, including electrical and control-circuit problems and starting systems.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and motor control schematics.
• Carry out emergency breakdown repairs.

What they are asking for

• OND/HND/BSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2-3 years' experience in electrical maintenance (industrial or manufacturing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motors and control panels.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
