Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Officer
About this role
Stockgap Fuels Limited is hiring for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Officer to oversee maintenance, testing and emergency repairs of electrical systems in its LPG bottling plant. The role focuses on ensuring safe and continuous electrical operations across power distribution and utility systems. It targets candidates with industrial electrical maintenance experience in downstream petroleum or process plants. The employer operates in the downstream petroleum sector with a growing LPG business and multiple storage and filling facilities across Nigeria.
What you would do
- Maintain LT/HT panels, MCCs, transformers, generators, motors, lighting and earthing systems.
- Support electrical safety compliance, earthing protection checks and LOTO procedures.
- Test and maintain emergency power backup systems (generators and UPS).
- Monitor energy usage and power consumption, and suggest efficiency and cost improvements.
What they are asking for
- Minimum 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in downstream petroleum or process plants.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical/Electrical Electronics Engineering (2nd Class Upper / Upper Credit).
- LV/HV switching or electrical safety certification is an added advantage.
