Education Assistant
About this role
Education Assistant position with Unique Care and Support Foundation (CASFOD) in Damboa, Borno. The role supports the Education team with enrolment, back-to-learning campaigns, community engagement, and ensuring accountability and retention in schools; suitable for candidates with field experience and strong coordination skills.
What you would do
- Maintain accurate project documentation and monitor data for output indicators
- Foster relationships with communities and leaders to secure buy-in and safe programming
- Contribute to proposal development by addressing needs and gaps
- Support youth and adolescent programming including life skills and literacy
- Supervise teachers and coordinate teacher training
- Coordinate communication with partners and stakeholders at community, LGEA and state levels

- Experience working in remote field bases with limited infrastructure
- Computer literacy and strong documentation skills
- Experience with TaRL and ABEP for Out of School Children (OOSC)
- Excellent time management and planning abilities
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Education or related field
- Willingness to travel and work in hard-to-reach areas
