About this role
Quest Schools in Osengere, Ibadan – Oyo is seeking a full-time Economics Teacher. The role involves leading and managing a class, planning and delivering lessons, monitoring learning activities and reporting on student progress as part of the School Improvement Plan. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of teaching experience, be fluent in English and proficient with ICT and Microsoft Office tools.
What you would do
- Lead and manage a class.
- Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches for the students.
- Monitor teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of the students.
- Plan and deliver effective sequences of lessons.
- Identify and teach skills that develop students' independent work, communication and social independence.
- Lead subject or identified area within the School Improvement Plan and report on students' progress.

- Minimum of B.Ed, B.Sc(Ed) or B.A(Ed) or equivalent degree.
- NYSC completion is compulsory.
- P.G.D.E. and TRCN certification is an added advantage.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Proficient with 21st century ICT tools and computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills.
- At least one year of teaching experience; must be a go-getter, passionate about teaching and a good team player.
