E3D Model Lead & PDMS Administrator

About this role

Role: E3D Model Lead and PDMS Administrator for SPIE Oil & Gas Services in Rivers. It targets an experienced AVEVA E3D/PDMS professional capable of leading 3D modelling, managing the project AVEVA database, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on Oil & Gas projects.

What you would do

• Set up and administer the AVEVA 3D database for the Project Portfolio Management organisation.
• Develop workflows to optimise the engineering design system and implement improvements.
• Create and maintain AVEVA E3D models from approved drawings and inputs.
• Build and modify equipment, piping, structural elements and other plant components within the E3D environment.
• Carry out model reviews and clash detection to identify design issues before fabrication or construction.
• Produce design deliverables from the model, such as piping isometrics and general arrangement drawings.

What they are asking for

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering Design or Drafting; BEng/BTech preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in AVEVA E3D/PDMS modelling and management.
• Proficiency in Navisworks and expert level AutoCAD skills.
• Expertise in point cloud processing and model validation workflows; experience with laser scan data.
• Familiarity with AVEVA E3D modules including Draw, Iso-draft, Paragon, Administration and Lexicon.
• Oil & Gas EPC project experience; ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and meet tight schedules.
