E3D Model Lead and PDMS Administrator

About this role

Role focuses on leading E3D model work and administering PDMS/E3D within AVEVA, supporting multi-disciplinary engineering teams in Nigeria. Targeted at experienced engineers with AVEVA E3D/PDMS expertise and project delivery experience in oil and gas.

What you would do

• Maintain model hierarchy, naming conventions, tagging, attributes and database integrity.
• Develop workflows to optimise the E3D design system and apply industry best practices.
• Perform clash detection and model validation with other disciplines to minimise rework.
• Create and modify equipment, piping, structural components, supports, platforms and ladders in the E3D environment.
• Set up and administer AVEVA 3D database for the Project Portfolio Management organisation.
• Produce and update isometric drawings, general arrangement drawings and other model-driven deliverables.

What they are asking for

• Minimum 5 years in AVEVA E3D/PDMS modelling and management.
• Expert proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD and AVEVA PDMS/E3D, with ability to configure projects and databases using AVEVA modules.
• Experience with laser scan point clouds and industrial E3D models.
• Ability to interpret engineering deliverables and translate into accurate 3D models.
• Degree or Diploma in Engineering Design or Drafting (BEng/BTech an added advantage).
• Familiar with AVEVA E3D modules (Draw, Iso-draft, Paragon, Administration & Lexicon) and Navisworks.
