A drone operator is needed to run civilian drones for aerial surveillance at the company’s mining site in Kaduna. The role focuses on protecting personnel, assets and infrastructure from security threats such as theft and trespass. The operator will work within ANRML’s security framework and may work shifts in a remote mining environment. What you would do
- Carry out routine aerial surveillance of mining areas, perimeters, access routes and facilities.
- Monitor and report on suspicious activities, theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access.
- Capture aerial images and video to support security operations and investigations.
- Provide real-time surveillance updates to the Security Control Room and ground teams.
- Maintain accurate flight logs and submit daily surveillance reports.
- Conduct routine drone inspections and perform maintenance and handling of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, company security procedures, and health and safety rules.
