About this role

A role for drivers and mechanics with the Nigerian Navy. Suitable for individuals who have a current mechanic apprenticeship certificate, a driving licence, and evidence of driving experience, plus recommendations from employers (and optionally from the Federal Road Safety Corps).

What you would do

• Provide driving and mechanical support as required by the Navy.
• Demonstrate vehicle maintenance and basic repair skills.
• Maintain equipment, tools and records related to driving and mechanics.
• Follow safety and operational procedures while on duty.
• Liaise with supervisors and recommended parties for assignments.

What they are asking for

• SSCE or equivalent with 5 credits including English Language
• Current mechanic apprenticeship certificate
• Evidence of driving experience
• Valid driver’s licence
• Letter of recommendation from past or present employer (as driver/mechanic)
• Letter of recommendation from Federal Road Safety Corps (advantage)
