Pioneer Foodzone Co Limited, a Lagos-based food manufacturing company, is hiring a full-time driver based in Ikeja. The role involves transporting company staff, clients, or goods, maintaining vehicles, and ensuring safety and timely journeys in line with traffic rules. What you would do
- Drive staff, clients or goods to designated destinations
- Keep vehicle clean and functional at all times
- Perform routine checks on vehicle systems (oil, water, brakes, tires, lights)
- Report mechanical faults, accidents or damages to management
- Ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs according to schedule
- Adhere to traffic rules and company driving policies
- Maintain records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials or packages
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with clients and colleagues
- Drive both manual and automatic vehicles as required
What they are asking for
- Minimum of SSCE or OND qualification
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- At least 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably in Lagos
- Good knowledge of Lagos routes and traffic regulations
- Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible, trustworthy and punctual
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills (added advantage)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends or public holidays if required
- Preferred: respectful, well-groomed and customer-oriented
