The Providence Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos is looking for a driver to transport guests and hotel staff, operate hotel vehicles safely, and support front office and guest service functions. What you would do
- Drive guests and staff using the hotel vehicle as directed by the Front Office
- Ensure vehicle is safe, roadworthy and clean; report defects promptly
- Assist guests with luggage and escort them to and from vehicles and rooms
- Answer and manage guest calls, messages, mail and deliveries promptly and professionally
- Deliver newspapers and other items to rooms; forward guest complaints to the manager on duty
- Promote hotel promotions and facilities to guests as appropriate
- Maintain lobby, parking areas, and car keys; ensure areas are clean and organized
- Provide information about hotel services and respond to guest queries
- Complete driver log sheet after trips and retain petrol receipts
- Cooperate with other departments and hand over to night shift with relevant information
