Doctor (Gynaecologist) – IVF
About this role
A doctor specialising in gynaecology and fertility care is sought to provide IVF and ART services to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, cycle monitoring, procedures, counselling and research. The role targets experienced IVF physicians able to work within a multidisciplinary team in Lagos for clients of The Impeccable Skills Company.
What you would do
- Conduct fertility assessments and develop treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
- Monitor fertility treatment journeys and adjust plans as needed
- Perform ART procedures including ovarian stimulation monitoring, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer and IUI
- Provide patient counselling, education and pre/post-treatment reviews
- Participate in clinical audits, governance and quality improvement activities
- Collaborate with embryologists, nurses, sonographers, anaesthetists and other staff to ensure patient care
What they are asking for
- Experience as an IVF Doctor or gynaecologist with fertility and ART expertise
- Proficiency in performing ovarian stimulation monitoring, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer and related procedures
- Strong patient counselling, documentation and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and lead/mentor junior staff
- Familiarity with MDCN, HEFAMAA regulations and clinical governance processes
- Commitment to ethical medical practice and patient confidentiality
