Distributor Partner Specialist
About this role
This role is for a Distributor Partner Specialist to drive Red Bull distribution and trade marketing targets by effectively managing distribution partners in the assigned region. It involves supporting business planning, developing and executing trade marketing plans, tracking KPIs, and coaching the DP sales force to achieve executional excellence. The job requires building strong cross-department relationships and supplying data for internal reporting. What you would do
- Support the DP to prepare the Trade Marketing Plan and Commercial Annex with the Line Manager
- Help DP achieve agreed Commercial Annex and Trade Marketing targets
- Educate the DP team on brand history and build product trust
- Train DP on Perfect Store standards by channel/outlet type and ensure target KPIs are met
- Identify gaps in execution and prepare action plans
- Enhance DP skills through on-the-job and classroom training (Power Selling, Power Coaching, etc)
- Track performance against KPIs and share results with Line Manager and DP Sales Manager
- Conduct market visits to outlets and markets on a monthly routine
- Spend 70% of time in the field with DP; 30% on planning, meetings and reporting
- Prepare and lead monthly business reviews with DP sales management and use scorecard reporting

- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in consumer goods (beverage preferred)
- Fluency in English
- Strong negotiation, numerical, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and training abilities
- Ability to work independently, be organised and result oriented
- Experience with Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Knowledge of Abuja, Lokoja and Jos open market/off-trade environments
- Knowledge of trade marketing concepts and field execution
- Creative, outgoing personality with high emotional intelligence
