Director, Policy and Partnerships (North-West Nigeria)

About this role

Senior role overseeing policy, partnerships and government engagement for education transformation in the North West (Katsina). Reports to regional leadership and focuses on sustaining government relationships, programme delivery and stakeholder management in the territory.

What you would do

• Lead government engagement, training and stakeholder meetings
• Oversee key government relationships and programming
• Create governance committees and establish regular meeting schedules
• Ensure weekly and monthly reporting to the government
• Manage Policy and Partnerships staff focused on programme management
• Map key government officials and manage relationships with education sector stakeholders and influencers

• Over 4 years' experience in government programme delivery or account management or engagement management
• Experience building and managing complex government or multi-stakeholder relationships
• Previous work with a Ministry of Education on programme delivery preferred

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
