About this role
The role is for the Director of the Directorate of Health Services at Lagos State University, reporting to the Vice Chancellor. What you would do
- Act as Chief Medical Administrator of the University Health Services.
- Coordinate daily operations of the health services.
- Provide strategic leadership and implement health policies.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and supervise medical registration of staff and students.
- Advise University Management on health policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Vice-Chancellor.
What they are asking for
- MBBS from a recognised institution.
- Evidence of one year housemanship and NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
- Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
- Registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria with a current practising licence.
- Minimum 15 years post-qualification cognate experience.
- At least 3 years as Deputy Director of Health Services in a comparable institution.
- ICT proficiency.
- Public Health or Family Medicine qualification is an added advantage.
