Direct Sales Agent (Hybrid)

A full-time Direct Sales Agent role in Lagos (hybrid work, with one in-office day per week) focused on acquiring merchants for digital payment solutions. What you would do
- Identify potential business clients within assigned territories, including SMEs and retail outlets.
- Promote and sell digital payment solutions and related services.
- Conduct product demonstrations and communicate features and benefits to merchants.
- Assist merchants with onboarding, KYC, and account activation processes.
- Achieve monthly merchant acquisition and activation targets.
- Maintain records of daily sales activities using CRM or reporting tools.
- Provide post-onboarding support to ensure retention and ongoing usage.
- Gather market intelligence and feedback for reporting to sales leadership.
- Report on competitors and market conditions to inform strategy.

- Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in any discipline.
- 2–3 years of direct sales experience in FinTech or digital payments.
- Mandatory prior experience with OPay, PalmPay or Moniepoint.
- Proven merchant acquisition, field sales and customer onboarding experience.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and persuasive skills.
- Self-motivated, confident and target-driven.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
- Good knowledge of the Lagos business landscape.
- Basic digital literacy, including smartphone apps, WhatsApp and CRM tools.
