Direct Sales Agent
About this role
FMR Agency is recruiting Direct Sales Agents to support customer acquisition and revenue growth in the digital payments sector in Lagos. The role requires candidates to have prior experience with OPay, PalmPay or Moniepoint and a solid grasp of merchant acquisition and digital payment solutions. You will drive merchant acquisition, increase product adoption and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
What you would do
- Identify and engage potential business clients within the assigned territory.
- Promote and sell digital payment solutions, including collection and payout services.
- Demonstrate products and clearly communicate features and benefits to prospective merchants.
- Support merchants through onboarding, KYC documentation, and account activation.
- Achieve assigned monthly merchant acquisition and activation targets.
- Provide post-onboarding support to ensure customer retention and continued product usage.
What they are asking for
- OND/HND/BSc in any discipline.
- 2-3 years' experience in direct sales within FinTech.
- Previous experience working with OPay, PalmPay or Moniepoint is mandatory.
- Proven experience in merchant acquisition, field sales, and customer onboarding.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Self-motivated, confident, and target-driven.
