Awa Lawa Limited in Lagos seeks a Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist to manage the brands’ online presence. The role involves running social media and digital marketing activities, handling paid campaigns, and driving growth metrics. It is a full-time, on-site position with some flexibility and reports to the CEO. What you would do

• Manage brand social media accounts on Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, WhatsApp Channels and Telegram for each brand with distinct voice.
• Plan and publish a weekly content calendar including announcements, reminders, promos, and short videos.
• Engage with followers by replying to comments and DMs within agreed hours; escalate issues to customer support.
• Grow followers, engagement, and community through live sessions and polls.
• Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns on Meta, X, TikTok, Google and other eligible networks; manage approvals and pre-authorisation for gambling ads.
• Set budgets, monitor cost per sign-up, cost per first deposit, and return on ad spend.
• Execute SMS, email and WhatsApp campaigns to re-engage players and convert waitlist.
• Coordinate with influencers, bloggers, affiliates and support programmes; contribute to SEO and website content with developers.
• Create graphics, short videos, reels and copy using in-house tools or freelancers; maintain brand consistency across channels.
• Ensure compliance with 18+ messaging, responsible gaming, ARCON rules and platform policies; avoid guaranteed-win claims.

What they are asking for

• A degree or certificate in marketing, communications or a related field.
• Experience with Meta Ads Manager, X Ads and TikTok Ads, including managing a monthly budget.
• Strong written English and familiarity with Nigerian internet culture, including Pidgin and trends.
• Ability to create content quickly using Canva, CapCut or similar tools.
• Comfort with analytics, tracking conversions and clear reporting; understanding of gaming ad rules or ability to learn quickly.
• Nice to have 4+ years of experience running social media and paid campaigns in Nigeria, ideally in gaming, betting, fintech or consumer apps; experience with sports betting, lottery or prediction markets.
• Knowledge of influencer and affiliate marketing, SMS marketing and WhatsApp marketing; SEO, Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel setup.
• Portfolio of past campaigns with measurable results.
