What you would do
- Digitise sepia and transparent geological logs using NeuraLog or similar software.
- Scan, digitise, and store legacy paper logs and technical documents.
- Perform quality control on scanned materials before archiving or uploading to the database.
- Professionally archive and index logs, reports, and documents for easy retrieval.
- Maintain consistent barcoding of logs, reports, and documents.
- Coordinate incoming correspondence and outgoing documents for the Manager’s office.
- Ensure timely processing and dispatch of official documents.
- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of all technical data and records.
- Adhere to quality assurance, workplace safety, and document management procedures.

- BSc or HND in Sciences, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in log digitisation and archiving.
- Practical experience digitising geological logs, particularly sepia and transparent logs.
- Proficiency in NeuraLog or similar log digitising software.
- Knowledge of scanning, indexing, barcoding, and digital document archiving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good command of English and effective report-writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
