About this role
A Digital Content, Publishing & Sales Officer is sought by LAJ Aquaculture & Farmacology in Kaduna. The role focuses on managing online content distribution, video editing, customer engagement and digital sales to generate revenue from fish production operations. The successful candidate will work alongside the Kaduna-based Videographer & Digital Content Production Officer. The employer operates an aquaculture facility with fish production activities and related farm equipment, and offers on-site accommodation as part of the employment package.
What you would do
- Film daily operations across Lafia grow-out farms and produce promotional and educational videos.
- Edit and publish videos with branding, captions and calls to action for multiple platforms.
- Develop scripts and customer-focused content; adapt media for different formats and maintain branding.
- Publish content on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp Business; manage content schedules and engagement.
- Monitor comments and customer enquiries; coordinate livestreams and marketing campaigns.
- Generate potential customers for fish, fingerlings and processed products; promote training programmes and services.
- Respond to enquiries with accurate product availability and pricing information; maintain a leads register.
- Follow up potential customers and convert leads to orders; coordinate sales with farm management.
- Maintain digital sales pipeline, track performance, and prepare reports.
- Support paid social campaigns and ensure payments go through authorised channels.

- ON D/HND/Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Digital Marketing, Business, Media, Communications or related fields.
- Demonstrable video editing and social media content creation experience.
- Familiarity with CapCut, Canva or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp Business.
- Ability to film high-quality videos using smartphones or cameras.
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills; commercially aware with sales targets.
- Strong organisational and reporting abilities; ability to work independently and with others.
- Willingness to reside at the Lafia farm.
- Desirable: experience in digital sales, e-commerce or social media advertising; knowledge of Meta Business Suite, TikTok analytics and YouTube Studio; Hausa language proficiency.
