DevOps Specialist
About this role
10Alytics is looking for a DevOps Specialist to join its Cyber Security team on a contract basis. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure for learning platforms, internship programs, and internal operations. You will automate infrastructure, manage cloud environments, run CI/CD pipelines, and apply DevSecOps practices across the software development lifecycle while supporting hands-on lab environments for learners.
What you would do
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code
- Deploy and manage containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes across environments
- Integrate DevSecOps practices with cybersecurity, software engineering and product teams
- Monitor performance, availability and reliability; automate operations and configure logging, monitoring and alerts
- Build and maintain cloud-based lab environments for learning and internship projects
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis and vulnerability remediation
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- Proven DevOps experience with strong Linux administration
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or Azure DevOps) and container management (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation), Git workflows, and scripting (Bash, Python or PowerShell)
- Understanding of DevSecOps, networking fundamentals (DNS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack or Splunk)
