About this role
Helium Health is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain complex production infrastructure in a fast paced healthtech environment. The role covers CI/CD, application performance monitoring and alerting, and requires collaboration with product management, operations, quality and software teams. It is suitable for someone with several years in DevOps, skilled in cloud and automation tooling, as well as infrastructure security practices.
What you would do
- Collaborate with product management, operations, quality assurance and software engineers to deliver solutions.
- Configure and develop against remote infrastructure in AWS.
- Design and own the DevOps CI/CD tooling and platform roadmap and lifecycle.
- Integrate DevOps with infrastructure and automation platforms via APIs.
- Support development teams with cloud-based infrastructure configuration for deployment, monitoring and automation.
- Ensure services are hardened and security best practices are applied in automated CI/CD processes.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of professional DevOps experience.
- Containerisation and microservice deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash; ability to read, understand and troubleshoot code in Elixir, PHP or JavaScript.
- Experience building reusable Terraform code and modules; migrating cloud resources to IaC is a plus.
- Experience with AWS and Azure and with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Loki, including dashboards and alerting methods.
