Desktop Support Officer
About this role
A desktop support role for Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc in Niger, providing IT and end-user support across desktop systems and peripherals. It targets applicants with at least one year of desktop/IT support experience and relevant IT qualifications.
What you would do
- Resolve IT incidents and minimise downtime for end-user services.
- Install, configure and support desktop computers, laptops, telephony systems, networks, printers, scanners and mobile devices.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
- Perform desk-side technical assistance as required.
- Maintain desktop infrastructure through updates, patches and hot-fixes.
- Monitor endpoint security compliance and document/incidents following standard procedures.
