Deputy General Manager, Administration

About this role

Senior role responsible for directing and delivering administrative, facilities, logistics and employee welfare functions to support Dangote Group operations in Lagos. Targets individuals with extensive experience in administration leadership within large organisations or industrial settings.

What you would do

• Provide strategic direction for all administrative activities and support services
• Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures and standards
• Oversee facilities, office management and maintenance of infrastructure
• Manage transport, fleet and logistics activities
• Ensure quality, timely and cost-effective services from vendors and contractors
• Lead and develop the Administration team and coordinate with other departments

• BSc or HND in Business Administration, Management or related field with at least 7 years post-qualification experience or an MBA with at least 4 years post-qualification experience
• Extensive experience in facilities management, logistics, fleet management, vendor management and employee welfare
• Strong knowledge of administrative policies, compliance and best practices
• Experience in a senior administrative or management role within a large organisation or industrial environment
• Proven ability to provide strategic leadership and manage budgets, contracts and resources
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder-management and leadership skills
