Demand Planning Executive
About this role
A Demand Planning Executive role based in Lagos, responsible for contributing to the IBP/S&OP process and turning market insights into an accurate demand plan for a portfolio. The position requires coordinating with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to improve forecast accuracy and manage demand risks.
What you would do
- Contribute to IBP/S&OP processes and improve forecast accuracy and stability.
- Translate market intelligence into a reliable demand signal for the portfolio.
- Create and maintain master data in planning systems to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and Finance to secure commitment and maintain communication.
- Develop and maintain demand plans using statistical methods and commercial insights.
- Track demand, identify deviations, and implement actions to minimise impact on inventory and service levels.
What they are asking for
- Minimum 4–6 years in Demand Planning, Forecasting, S&OP or related FMCG role.
- Experience developing forecasts across multiple SKUs, customers or channels.
- Experience with statistical forecasting and analysing forecast accuracy and bias.
- Experience working with ERP/demand planning systems and large datasets.
- Experience participating in S&OP/IBP and consensus demand planning processes.
- Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
