A Demand Planner role based in Lagos, reporting to the Procurement & Logistics Manager. The position focuses on creating and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, aligning them with business objectives, and supporting product availability and customer service performance.
What you would do
- Collaborate with Production, Procurement and Logistics to translate demand plans into supply and inventory plans
- Analyse historical sales, project pipelines, customer demand patterns and market data to improve forecast accuracy
- Support the S&OP process with accurate demand projections and analysis
- Work with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance to gather market insights and align forecasts with business plans
- Drive improvements to planning processes, forecasting methods and data quality
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to reduce stock-outs, excess inventory and obsolescence

- BSc/HND in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to interpret data
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- High level of accuracy and problem-solving ability
