Demand Planner
About this role
Givanas Group in Lagos is looking for a Demand Planner to forecast demand and coordinate planning across sales, production and supply chain. The role uses sales data and market information to improve product availability, forecast accuracy and inventory performance. It involves working with commercial and operational teams to translate information into planning decisions and produce demand-planning reports.
What you would do
- Develop and update demand forecasts using sales history, market trends and promotional plans
- Coordinate demand reviews with sales, marketing, production and supply chain teams
- Monitor forecast accuracy and investigate significant variances
- Identify stock-out, excess-stock and slow-moving inventory risks
- Translate sales and market information into practical planning recommendations
- Prepare demand-planning reports and support decisions on inventory and product availability
