About this role
The Data Transcriber role is part of a qualitative fieldwork team for an embedded implementation study in Kogi state, linked to immunisation and malaria prevention activities. The position involves producing accurate, de-identified transcripts of interviews and focus group discussions, and where needed translating local language interviews into English while preserving meaning. Transcribers work alongside researchers to ensure transcripts align with approved procedures, confidentiality requirements and study timelines. The work supports state-level qualitative data collection and coordination with MC, state programme managers and authorities. The assignment is field-based and follows MC-approved sampling, consent and data governance procedures.
