What you would do
- Maintain accurate geophysics databases and data accessibility
- Manage seismic data archives including indexing, transfer, storage and monitoring
- Monitor disk space and create capacity plans for projects
- Generate geophysics documents, charts, plots, and interpretation materials
- Develop and maintain procedures for electronic data exchange with partners
- Ensure functionality and availability of the SISMAGE software application
- Provide technical guidance, manuals, and training on SISMAGE to users
- Test software applications and liaise with vendors for improvements
- Collaborate with application support and Geoscience teams to improve efficiency
- Support data loading and updates for well data through HQ DATAGATE and manage related IT environments

- BSc or MSc in Engineering, Science, Geophysics, or related discipline
- Several years of relevant experience in Geophysics and Geoscience data management
- Experience in seismic data acquisition and seismic data management
- Hands-on experience with the SISMAGE application
- Knowledge of Linux, MAJIX, and XRAI NICE DCV environments
- Strong database management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience supporting geoscientists and managing technical data in an oil and gas environment
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
