What you would do
- Receive EPI registers, tally sheets and reporting tools from SMOH and distribute to health facilities and mobile clinics.
- Train field vaccinators and outreach teams on correct use of EPI tools and reporting formats.
- Help develop micro-plans for catchment populations with field teams.
- Compile monthly immunization data and vaccination coverage reports.
- Assist health and MEAL teams to extract data and generate reports meeting Gates Foundation and SMOH guidelines.
- Visit facilities regularly to ensure data collection and reporting meet standards and guidance.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in public health, health information management, statistics, nursing or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of work experience in a data-management role in an NGO.
- Ability to learn and use software for recording; strong computer literacy (Word, Excel).
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of local languages (Hausa and Kanuri) is an asset.
