Data Entry Officer (Enugu)
About this role
The role is for a Data Entry Officer based in Enugu with hybrid work arrangements. The role requires accurately entering and maintaining customer accounts, product catalogs, inventory records, and pricing data within the Moniebook platform. The job involves supporting onboarding, data validation, and cross-functional data requests to ensure clean, ready data for onboarding and reporting.
What you would do
- Process bulk data imports from spreadsheets and CSV files before upload
- Input, update and maintain merchant data including product catalogues, SKUs, pricing, inventory and customer profiles
- Ensure records adhere to data standards and naming conventions
- Support setup of catalogue structures, tax configurations and payment settings for onboarding
- Prepare merchant accounts by populating required data within timelines
- Review merchant-submitted data templates for errors and resolve gaps
- Cross-reference data across spreadsheets, CRM and POS backend for consistency
- Identify and correct data errors, duplicates or outdated records
- Document common errors and resolutions to build a knowledge base
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather missing data and fulfil ad-hoc data requests within SLAs
What they are asking for
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (data cleaning, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas)
- 1-3 years in data entry, data operations or similar roles (preferably SaaS, retail tech or fintech)
- High attention to detail with a track record of accuracy across large data volumes
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects
- Completed NYSC or valid exemption certificate
- Familiarity with CRM platforms or POS/back-office SaaS tools
- Preferred: based in Enugu North and Nsukka
- Experience with bulk CSV imports, data migration or catalogue management in SaaS
- Experience supporting onboarding, implementation or customer success teams
