Data & Analytics Engineer
About this role
The role combines data engineering and analytics engineering to build and maintain data pipelines, models and platforms for the Enterprise Data Warehouse and business intelligence efforts. It aims to ensure high-quality, timely data for reporting, advanced analytics and actuarial IFRS17 reporting. The position is for a candidate with experience in data and analytics engineering who will work with analysts, actuaries and business stakeholders to produce actionable insights for the organisation.
What you would do
- Maintain the Enterprise Data Warehouse as a single source of truth for analytics and reporting
- Design, build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, dbt and Airflow
- Collect and load structured and unstructured data from internal and external systems
- Manage data collection for IFRS17 and produce monthly outputs for actuarial evaluations
- Design and optimise dbt models to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets
- Ensure data quality, accuracy and integrity across pipelines and reporting systems
- Assess data maturity, identify gaps and recommend improvements
- Implement data governance practices, model testing, validation and documentation
- Ensure version control and CI/CD workflows using Git and Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with analysts, actuaries and business stakeholders to deliver insights and uphold data security and governance

- HND or Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Knowledge of SQL and Python is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3–4 years of experience
