Data Analyst
About this role
A Data Analyst is needed to support data analysis across Malaria Consortium Nigeria, under the Country MEL Manager, focusing on datasets related to disease control, programme results and surveys. The role is based in Abuja and targets individuals with strong statistical and data management skills in global health settings.
What you would do
- Support study design and statistical analysis of project data
- Develop, maintain and automate dashboards and indicator tracking systems
- Support data quality activities including data audits and data cleaning
- Build capacity in data management and analysis for staff
- Contribute to documentation, reports and learning materials
- Support data analysis for various SMC-related projects and surveys across the portfolio
What they are asking for
- Master's Degree in Statistics or Public Health with epidemiology/biostatistics or demography
- Extensive experience in statistical analysis (qualitative and quantitative) and data management with international organisations or research institutions
- Experience in research design, data management and database development
- Experience with KoboToolbox or SurveyCTO and statistical software (Stata, R, Excel, Python, Nvivo)
- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation tools in global health or international development
- Good interpersonal, writing, presentation and leadership skills
