Customer Service Representatives
About this role
Work Dey HR Services is seeking highly motivated Customer Service Officers with strong telesales, marketing and persuasive skills. The role involves driving sales via telephone calls, social media and in-person engagement, converting leads into paying customers and providing after-sales support. The position is based in Lagos.
What you would do
- Make high-volume outbound telesales calls to prospective customers from provided leads and personal sourcing
- Market and sell the company’s products and services
- Follow up on leads and inquiries to close deals
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales targets
- Upsell and cross-sell company products
- Handle inbound customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products, pricing and delivery
What they are asking for
- BSc/HND/OND in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication or related field
- 1-2 years proven experience in Telesales, Direct Sales, Customer Service or Call Centre roles (experience in fitness, wellness, tech or lifestyle products is an added advantage)
- Age between 22 and 35 years
- Exceptional persuasive, negotiation and closing skills; confident on the phone
- Excellent verbal communication and convincing skills; customer-centric
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook); ability to work under pressure
