Customer Service Officer
About this role
A Customer Service Officer role based in Rivers for a client of Ellasot Consulting. The position focuses on delivering customer service, handling inquiries, promoting and selling products, and maintaining customer relationships, with an emphasis on sales experience and coordination with internal teams.
What you would do
- Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, social media and in person
- Respond to complaints, requests and product information promptly
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Promote products and convert prospects into customers
- Follow up with leads and existing customers to generate new and repeat business
- Coordinate orders and communicate with sales, inventory and other departments to ensure timely delivery and records
What they are asking for
- Minimum OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Business Admin, Marketing, Mass Communication or related)
- 1–3 years in customer service, sales, retail or related roles
- Experience in customer-facing roles is advantageous
- Experience with CRM, POS or inventory software is an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service, negotiation and organisational abilities
