About this role
Detopsy Engineering Limited is recruiting for a Customer Care / Sales Representative Officer in Abuja, on a hybrid full-time basis. The role combines client liaison with sales activities to promote the company’s engineering services and technical products. The successful candidate will handle customer inquiries, manage corporate accounts, and pursue sales opportunities while monitoring local market trends. The company operates as an indigenous Nigerian engineering firm offering design, inspection, procurement and construction services in renewable energy, electrical, instrumentation, valves, tanks, metering and automation for oil & gas and marine sectors.
What you would do
- Follow up on customer requests and manage corporate accounts
- Handle inbound and outbound inquiries via phone, email and WhatsApp
- Persuasively present company products and engineering solutions to prospective clients
- Convert technical inquiries into sales
- Monitor Abuja market trends to identify growth opportunities
- Guide clients through product selection and appropriate engineering solutions
- Maintain daily logs of client interactions
- Support customer satisfaction and revenue growth at the Abuja branch
- Engage with clients to promote services and technical products
- Collaborate with team to support sales targets
What they are asking for
- Minimum of a BSc or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field
- 2–3 years of proven experience in customer service and sales/telemarketing
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage client relationships
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools and business software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical products to both technical and non-technical clients
- Local knowledge of Abuja's corporate and industrial landscape is desirable
- Proactive, goal-oriented and customer-focused mindset
- Experience in engineering, construction or oil & gas service industries is preferred
- Hybrid work capability (on-site in Abuja)
