Rubeth International Christian Academy in Aba, Abia State, is seeking a dedicated secondary school teacher to deliver high-quality lessons, support student development, and uphold Christian values within the school. The role involves maintaining a positive classroom environment and collaborating with school leadership, with reporting lines to the Head of Department, Vice Principal, or Principal depending on structure.

What you would do

• Plan lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Deliver lessons to students.
• Prepare lesson notes and assessment materials.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback; maintain records of attendance and grades.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a respectful learning environment.
• Collaborate with staff and communicate with parents.

• Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant subject; NCE may be considered for junior level.
• TRCN registration or eligibility is an advantageous; additional teaching qualifications are advantageous.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a reputable school; familiarity with Nigerian secondary curriculum and WAEC/NECO/BECE is advantageous.
• Demonstrated classroom management and ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, ICT and organisational skills; fluency in English.
• Good character, integrity, discipline, professionalism; punctual and reliable; willing to participate in school activities and maintain confidentiality; able to work as part of a team.
