What you would do
- Create mood boards for clients
- Collaborate with buyers, forecasters, and other team members to develop products
- Produce designs by hand or with CAD
- Adapt designs for mass production
- Provide patterns and technical specifications
- Coordinate with sales, buying and production teams
- Source fabrics, trims, and embellishments
- Work with models and participate in fashion shows
- Prepare tech packs and costings for suppliers
- Support or lead fittings and provide fit improvements
