What you would do
- Create or visualise design ideas by hand or CAD
- Develop mood boards for clients
- Plan and develop fashion ranges based on themes
- Collaborate with buyers, forecasters, sales, and production teams
- Source fabrics, trims, and embellishments; attend trade shows
- Adapt designs for mass production; develop patterns and technical specs
- Oversee fittings, samples, and garment construction
- Lead fitting sessions and provide fit improvements
- Showcase designs at fashion and trade shows; work with models
- Coordinate with design, sample, production and sales teams; input orders into ERP
