About this role

Crane Operator Class C role with Scruples Resources in Lagos. The job involves operating a Class C crane within rated capacity, following approved lifting plans and load charts, and coordinating with riggers, banksmen and supervisors during lifts, while monitoring overhead obstructions and environmental conditions.

What you would do

• Perform pre-use checks and operate the crane within rated capacity and approved lifting plans.
• Interpret load charts, lifting plans, signals and site restrictions.
• Coordinate with riggers, banksmen and supervisors during lifting operations.
• Maintain awareness of overhead obstructions, exclusion zones and environmental conditions.
• Report equipment defects, unsafe conditions and abnormal operating conditions.
• Maintain operating and inspection records as required.

What they are asking for

• Valid Class C crane/operator certification.
• Practical lifting-operation experience.
• Knowledge of load charts, signals and lifting safety.
• Strong HSE awareness and equipment care.
• Relevant degree, HND, OND, trade qualification or recognised professional certification.
• Experience in industrial, construction, oil and gas, marine or project environments is preferred.
