A leading Pan-African maritime and offshore services company is seeking a Country Manager to lead its Nigeria operations from Lagos. The role involves driving growth, managing performance and compliance, and coordinating with the group leadership on Nigeria and Pan-African objectives.
What you would do
- Drive revenue growth and market expansion in Nigeria
- Strengthen client relationships and pursue renewals and new contracts
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships
- Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable execution of operations and contracts
- Deliver fleet and operational performance within uptime, budget, and service commitments
- Maintain compliance with QHSE standards and regulatory and local content requirements; report on risks and governance
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, Logistics, Operations Management or related field
- 18+ years of leadership experience in maritime, offshore, oil and gas, logistics or related industries
- Proven track record leading a country operation or large-scale function with P&L and commercial growth experience
- Experience managing relationships with clients, regulators, and partners in regulated environments
- Strong leadership, risk management and ability to develop high-performance teams
- Preferred: MBA or Master’s degree; good understanding of marine, regulatory, and governance requirements
