Country Director
About this role
The Country Director will lead Viamo Nigeria’s growth, sales and partnerships, and oversee country leadership to ensure delivery and stakeholder engagement. The role targets candidates with strong development-sector networks in Nigeria and proven ability to close major partnerships and contracts.
What you would do
- Drive sales and partnership development to move opportunities to signature
- Lead country growth strategy and prioritise opportunities based on partner needs and feasibility
- Coordinate sales-to-delivery handovers and support partner escalations
- Lead the Nigeria Country Crew and align cross-functional teams on priorities
- Represent Viamo to government, development partners and mobile operators
- Support across departments to enable relationships, infrastructure agreements and compliance

- Development-sector understanding and funding fluency, experience with UN/NGO/donor priorities
- Nigeria experience with active professional network and trusted relationships

- Strong proposal writing, budgeting skills and a proven record of closing significant contracts or partnerships
