Cost Estimating Lead III

About this role

Role is Cost Estimating Lead III for Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited (NNEC) in Lagos. The position provides direct oversight of cost estimate preparation and QA for company operated and OBO estimates across gate and funding milestones, and leads the Estimating team while coordinating with the project management team and external clients.

What you would do

• Oversee cost estimate preparation and quality assurance reviews for company operated and OBO estimates across gate and funding milestones.
• Coordinate the preparation of check estimates and schedules to compare with OBO submittals and verify cost and schedule bases.
• Provide leadership and consulting to the Estimating Supervisor on process efficiency and QA improvements.
• Work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure delivery of the project work.
• Attend project meetings with the PMT and external clients.
• Produce monthly costing reports for the team and management to ensure expenditures stay within the project budget.

• Experience in cost and schedule estimating or closely related role.
• History in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Strong analytical, computing and reporting skills for project cost planning and scheduling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication, influencing and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and negotiate/broker solutions between internal coordination parties.
